Apologies

7 07 2008

So, last night did not happen. Through no fault of my own. The DJ for Saturday night managed to blow up the entire sound system playing disco classics at an excessive volume. So if you went down expecting to dance last night, you would have heard the music coming out of an Ipod and some tinny little speakers. still, the music must have been good.

It was a shame, really, as for the first time in ages I actually wanted to be there on the wheels of steel (or should that be moulded plastic, as the music was all on CD) – I like to see people’s reactions to music the know tangentially but will dance to when the have taken a drink. Like a Hammond organ version of ‘Rehab’, or the Batman theme music, or a funk version of ‘It only takes a minute’, or ‘I’m a man’, currently advertising a car of some sort on British TV. Still, hopefully I may be able to try again at some point soon.
